Narrow Gauge Inn is not far down the highway (less than a mile) – a bit rustic, but does the job. Click Here for more information. Oakhurst has several options for lodging (22 minutes away) but all reasonably priced.

Transportation

Tenaya Lodge is located 55 miles north of the Fresno International Airport (FAT) on Highway 41 and two miles from the south entrance to Yosemite. Drive time from regional airports: Fresno-1.5 hours, Oakland-4 hours, SFO -4.5 hours, LAX-4.5 hours. Visit wcisaconnect.com for driving directions.

The average local temperature for the month of April is brisk…a high of 70 and low of 44. Bring lots of layers and you’ll be in great shape.

Interested in Camping?

Reservations for Yosemite open up December 15 at 8:00 eastern time for last 2 weeks of April and first 2 weeks of May. It is helpful to be prepared and research which campground and preferred spaces.
