Our annual golf tournament supporting the TREE Fund will be held at Bennett Valley Golf Course! Bennett Valley Golf Course (BVGC) opened in 1969 and is located at the base of Bennett Peak, where Matanzas Creek meanders throughout the tree-lined course. Native oak, redwood and pine trees enhance the course’s beauty and create a classic, natural setting. The par 72, 6,500 yard course (from the tips) is considered one of best maintained in the area.
This “Best Two Ball Schamble” tournament is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 pm on Monday April 23, 2018 – tee times will be set after 3/1/2018. The $125.00 entry fee will include a round of 18 holes, golf cart, raffle ticket (chance to win a new driver) and lunch on the course. Golf Shop script will be presented for team low gross, longest drive and closest to the pin with an optional 2nd and 3rd place depending on the number of golfers. There will be a raffle drawing following the trophy presentation. The Chapter Field Day will be held adjacent to the course at Galvin Park – there will be a chance to visit with field day attendees at the 19th hole after the round.
If you are a golfer, please fill out the registration form and return it by April 1, 2018. Rental clubs are available.
If you are unable to play, you can still participate as a hole sponsor or tee/green co-sponsor. Sponsors will receive a tee or green sign, plaque, recognition in the program and recognition at the awards presentation. In order for us to be able to accommodate the expected increase in the number of sponsors, we have established two different sponsorship categories:
Hole Sponsor – Sole sponsor for a designated hole: $500.00 Tee/Green Sponsor – Shared sponsorship for a designated hole: $250.00
